For our Gordola location, we are looking to hire immediately or by agreement a Supply Chain Specialist.
POSITION PROFILE
- Responsible for the operational processing of material and service orders
- Negotiation of prices, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers
- Coordination of procurement activities and identification of synergy and bundling opportunities
- Organization and coordination of goods and document transportation (import & export)
- Optimization of inventory levels and forecasting of material requirements
- Execution and coordination of regular inventory checks
- Data management and analysis, cost calculations, and preparation of statistics
- Ensuring compliance with quality standards and aviation industry regulations
- Issuing invoices to customers
- Handling tax and customs matters related to base activities in support of Finance
- Personnel administration in cooperation with HR
- Management of the base’s petty cash
- Rotables forecast
- Working with the sister company in a business-oriented manner
YOUR PROFILE
- Completed technical or commercial vocational training, with further education in Supply Chain Management
- Professional experience in procurement and inventory management
- Preferably experience in aviation/MRO or in a similar role
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working with a strong sense of quality
- Customer- and team-oriented personality with assertiveness
- Solid MS Office skills, particularly good knowledge of MS Excel
- Fluent English, both written and spoken; additional languages are an advantage
